tigers to sharks. Younger children are going to absolutely love The Kids’ Zone, where they can
hang out with some pretty darling goats before checking out the playground. If you need an
extra way to wear out their unlimited energy, swing by the Adventure Maze, where they can see
how they can match up to the natural abilities of the planet’s animals!
Children’s Museum of Tacoma

Children’s Museum of Tacoma is a space dedicated to letting kids be their wild and wonderful
selves through family activities. There is a bit of everything from water tables to playscapes.
Your child will have a space where they can run, crawl, climb, and create. The museum also
offers low-sensory hours for kiddos who might get overwhelmed by larger crowds. While this
space has options for kids up through the age of 7, it tends to be a favorite for toddlers and
preschoolers!
W.W. Seymour Conservatory

W.W. Seymour Conservatory has been around for over a century, though they have faced a fair
share of renovations to take it into the future. With this family activities center, you can enjoy the
great Tacoma outdoors while learning all about the plants that make Washington so amazing.
The conservatory is nestled in the middle of Wright Park, giving you acres of green space to
explore with your crew. They also have regular events, including story time and mindfulness
walks!
Northwest Trek Wildlife Park

Do you need the perfect activity for those gray and drizzly Tacoma days? Then I think you might
adore Northwest Trek Wildlife Park! This 723-acre park takes you through the best Washington
wildlife without you ever leaving your car. You’ll drive past bears, wolves, bald eagles, cougars,
and bobcats. You can also choose experiences like the Animal Walking Paths or the Discovery
Tram tours. Their guides will walk you through how you can stay safe while seeing some of the
wildest animals in all of America!
